SST2 Series SATELLITE SYNCHRONIZED TIME NTP STRATUM 1
The SST2 NTP server provides UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) to IT and Telecommunication Systems. This information is generated by the U.S. Naval Observatory and retransmitted by GPS satellites. Up to 12 satellites are tracked simultaneously. All pertinent data are stored in solid state memory providing a history log in excess of nine years. In addition to accurate time, a 10 MegaHertz sine wave reference frequency and a one-pulse-second square wave are provided as outputs at the rear panel. Time queries are managed by the main processor board CPU and frequency output (10 MHz and 1PPS) is managed by two additional dedicated processors. A TrimbleTM BulletTM active antenna with 75 feet of quad insulated RG6 cable is provided with each unit. The embedded 12 channel receiver is the highly rated TrimbleTM Resolution-TTM. The SST2 is housed 1.75”(1U) high X 10.5”deep X 17” wide with removable 19” rack-mount ears.
Nine front panel LEDs provide instant status of power conditions and activity. A two-line by 24 character display gives additional dynamic information. SST2 servers are more accurate that unit costing hundreds more. Made in the U.S.A.
